Account Deletion

This page describes how you can request deletion of your account and associated data in Longo Training (the "App"), operated by Longo Carpet Cleaning and Restoration Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). Longo Training is a training and learning platform for employees and contractors.
You may request deletion of your Longo Training account at any time using one of the following methods:
- In-app (recommended): Open the Longo Training app, go to Profile or Settings, and use the "Delete account" or "Request account deletion" option if available.
- Email: Send an email to the address provided in the App or on our website (e.g. support or contact), with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your Longo Training account so we can identify your account.
- Website / Admin: If you access Longo Training via our web admin or a designated URL, use the contact or support information listed there to submit a deletion request and clearly state that you want your user account and related data deleted.
We will process your request in accordance with our internal procedures and applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before completing the deletion.
When we delete your account, we remove or anonymize the following data associated with your account, to the extent technically and legally feasible:
- Account credentials and authentication data (e.g. email, hashed passwords).
- Profile information (e.g. name, email, profile/avatar photo).
- Training progress (e.g. module completion, quiz attempts, scores, time spent).
- User-generated content tied to your account (e.g. notes, uploads, or responses stored under your user ID).
- Preferences and settings linked to your account.
- Role and permission assignments (e.g. user_roles, category access).
Deletion is performed within our main application databases and, where applicable, in connected systems we control (e.g. file storage for avatars or uploaded content). Third-party services (e.g. authentication providers) may retain data according to their own policies until you or we take further action.
We may retain certain information after account deletion only where required or permitted by law, or for legitimate operational, legal, or safety reasons:
- Legal and compliance: Records needed for legal claims, regulatory compliance, tax, or audit requirements (e.g. transaction or compliance logs). Such data is typically retained for the period required by applicable law (e.g. several years) and then deleted or anonymized.
- Backups: Data may exist in backup systems for a limited period (e.g. up to 90 days or as per our backup retention policy). Backups are overwritten over time; we do not use them for active processing once your account is deleted.
- Anonymized or aggregated data: We may keep anonymized or aggregated statistics that cannot be used to identify you (e.g. overall completion rates, usage trends). These are retained for as long as we use them for analytics or improvement.
- Third-party systems: Authentication or other third-party providers may retain data according to their terms and privacy policies. You may need to contact them or manage your consent in their services for additional deletion.
We do not retain your personal data for longer than necessary for these purposes. If a specific retention period is required by law in your jurisdiction, we will comply with that period.
Once your account is deleted, you will no longer be able to sign in to Longo Training or access your previous progress or content. If you wish to use the App again in the future, you will need to create a new account. Deletion is generally irreversible for the data we remove.
